Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling for years with Airbnb and love coming home to a human... but I am finding most hosts have lost their interest in connecting. I am hoping couch surfing will allow me to meet more people who are open to sharing thoughts, experiences, and learnings.

Music, Movies, and Books

Latin music (all), some chill electronic, some indie and anything piano or sax live. Documentaries - especially about nutrition, environmentalism, neurology, systems and design thinking. Lots of TED. Books - same topics as above for non-fiction, many in Spanish, and fantasy. I like a map and a character hierarchy ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does quitting my job and leaving home mid-career count? I also won a sumo suit wrestling contest in front of 3000 people?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic Spanish, beach volleyball, salsa dancing, some IT topics, management and leadership, lean startup principles, personal training, basic Hatha yoga, plant-based nutrition. I am learning Portuguese, and am interested in investing, real estate, meditation, pilates, board games, pop culture, working with kids/youth, and anything about work and passions you have. I am happy to share time and meals (veg/fish/seafood), side trips, girl time, girl advice/listening, advice on girls :), wine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am kind, clean, quiet and respectful. I enjoy both chatting and being on my own, so am well balanced. You can count on me to treat your home as my own, and your friends, family or neighbours well. I can take care of pets and plants, and am happy to be the provider of salads and veggie sides to your meals :).
