About Me

I'm a twenty-one year old Chinese-American who is currently studying in the Bay Area. As a person who comes from a multicultural background, I really enjoy meeting people from other cultures and learning about how others live. I'm also really flexible and easy-going. No matter where I am, I usually end up babysitting for a family because I just love being around kids. Unfortunately, I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment with 3 other apartment mates so I'm unable to host. I would love to meet people for dinner or just some sight-seeing. It would also be wonderful to stay with some locals around Europe and get to know people that way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people and going on random adventures! I feel that meeting people in an atmosphere like Couchsurfing really shows how good and beautiful life can be. Also, the best things in life are free!

Interests

I love to cook... If I didn't have other passions, I would spend all day in the kitchen making lasagna and baking cookies.

My interests vary depending on my mood. Some days I want to go rock climbing, some days I want to go on a hike, and some days I just want to cuddle up in bed. A lot of my days are spent reading and researching travel destinations (it's so addicting!) I also love to shop and find treasures at flea markets and etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Seriously, I enjoy almost everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four months in West Africa, lived with a host family, learned the local language (the best I could, heh), learned about women's rights there and studied development in a developing country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am so down to cook you a meal, help clean up your house, or whatever! If you have kids (probably not due to couchsurfing demographics), I can babysit for a night while you get a break and enjoy yourself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Monaco, Portugal, Scotland, Senegal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
