ABOUT ME

I'm obsessed about rockclimbing! It's one of those activities that can do that to you. I also love walking in remote areas, preferably warm ones as I have a bit of a cold phobia, which is particularly strange as I love cross country skiing, but only in spring when it's sunny and warm (relatively speaking!).

I play a bit of music, not so much these days as I'm not sure where my time has gone, most excited by the djembe and accordion now. I love to garden and keep a little patch going. I used to keep a large patch going but realised that my eyes were bigger than my stomach when it came to gardening!

I am mostly nursing these days, specialising in aged care. I choose to do work that I enjoy that I can also have a life around. I love to study and am currently working on a master of nursing. I'm passionate about environmental issues and social justice.

Mishka is my share cat. A whole cat was too much responsibility, so I went for half a cat. She's still a little mad, but settling down into adulthood at last.

The climbing community has always been amazing for meeting people, showing people around, sharing houses, camps, squats and transport. It's great to be part of an openminded and sharing community.
