About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the wonderful world of couch surfing. I have heard many great things from people whom I respect and admire.

ABOUT ME

Grew up and went to college in CO, great place to be outdoors! Currently living in San Francisco, spending time to appreciate the art , culture, and food aspects that a big city has to offer. My travels are limited, but some of the coolest people I have met on earth are travelers and I respect that.

Currently working as an artist with a business partner, making jewelry we sell mostly online. Spending time investigating a path into making a living in the fine arts. Even if this is something I can make work for a partial income at first, I would love to get paid doing something very creative. But don't we all? :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Love, and love honestly. Then you will find true love."- Charles Bradley- Brilliant Soul Singer

"Understanding transformation means understanding the world as process." - William Kentridge- Amazing South African Artist

On our personal journeys, it is important never to lose sight of the real reasons we are here. We are constantly questioning that. It is my belief that to attain our highest sense of being, we are to invest our energy into loving others.

Whenever possible, choosing love or to help another being can open up the soul to compassion and and experiencing the energy that flows through the entire universe. When we make those choices- to invest in love- the yield is always 10 fold. Seeing every moment as having a purpose allows for the individual not to get caught up in getting stuck, for we are in the process of becoming something we are supposed to be.

That being said, I do believe love takes work. It is not enough to wish things into existence- but to apply our work into our faith in manifesting a better world. Without that work, the faith becomes empty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the couch surfing experience, so I am looking to meet amazing people in different communities and through different walks of life. In this respect, I am here to absorb different "ways of being" in our world.

Some of my really good friends turned me on to this site because they got involved in WOOFING and organic farming. I am very much interested in alternative forms of making a sustainable income, as well as sustainable future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

---Zilch--- I have let traveler's stay on my couch a couple times. I admittedly already knew them before their travels began, but otherwise I would not have heard about this amazing site.

Interests

Art, jewelry making, dance (breakdancing in particular), and alternative modes of being a "responsible adult." While it is my dream to be a self sustaining artist, I am confident in the fact that I will always make art- I have to in order to be sane.

My journey now embarks upon discovering fulfilling, empowering, and/or fun ways that people make a living- and hopefully a difference!
