About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm Wendy.
I like travel and I like to try new things. Making friends and listening to their stories of traveling is one of the best way to know more about the world, learn respect, and even make some friends for lifetime.

I love maple leaves a lot and a lot. And I hate coffee a lot.
I like all kind of weather except it is wet and cold and rain altogether. But I haven't seen snow yet, so maybe I will change my mind.
I hope someday I can form a small band that only play for our belief - music.

I like to make new friend. If you want to stay in Taipei for a few day or even just a day, and also like to make new friend as well, I'm willing to to host or have a dinner together(or a short trip in weekend)!

PHILOSOPHY

We all try to be a better person.
"Without passion, life is nothing!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel, to make friends, and to know more about the place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many times of surfing, and have several experience of having dinner with travelers

●The time with Robin, John, Afek, Rebecca, and Alex- We had all kinds of experience, shared our stories and the picture during trip, enjoyed the music, tasted of home cooking...
●The time with Miles, Jill Marie, and CJ- Lots of adventure and cooking were full of the days on Center island, San Juan and Bellingham. Especially, thanks for Miles, not only gave me such wonderful experience, but also made me understand the meaning of life.
●The time with Matthias and Frauke. We had lots of talking to know each other and all kinds of topic that we interested in. I got to know more about Eschenlohe due to the explorative walk and enjoyed the time in Gapa.
●The time with Becca. It was so nice to meet the CS friend again! With her help, I was safe and sound in these trip. I am so glad to meet Becca again and really enjoy the time we spend together!
●The time with Alasdair- we had pizza for dinner and talked for a while. I got to know more about Scotland through talk and know more about Gaelic!
●The time with James, Phillip, and William, we got so many talks and laugh. Although we don't hangout together, I'm glad we got the talks. It's so good to make friends!
●The time with David- I felt I met a friend that i know for a long time. I feel so secure when I'm with him. Really enjoy the time together.
●The time with Tomason- We had more talk at the time when I was leaving. Many topics to see the difference of education and culture. A different experience!
●The time with William- Staying with sis and going out together. It's like staying at home, comfortable and safe. I miss my sis a lot.
●The time with Tamara- It was my first surfing experience in Taiwan. We went out together and met some of her friends.

With these experiences, I'm really want to have more surfing and hosting experience. Meet new friend (like you!) and have a great time during travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many years ago, I traveled to Boston with my friend Lucy.
Well, it may sound nothing special. But, for the person who had never left his own hometown, it was everything!!!
AND, we got an unforgettable experience there. Although we got lost on the freedom trail, we found "The John Adams Courthouse" -gorgeous, incredible, and wonderful place- instead occasionally. I got the best moment in that afternoon.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interest in Chinese, Taiwanese, or culture in Taiwan, it's my pleasure to share with you.
I like to make handcrafted stuff. If you are interest in it, we can share more!
At the same time, I can learn a lot from you, stories you share, life experience, personal interest, and so on. ANYTHING!
