About Me

“Live each day as if your life had just begun.” ~ Goethe

I'm currently a law student but I am thinking about changing career paths... I'd love to work in tourism, so I'm trying to figure out how to make that work.

I am not organised and I don't like to plan ahead, which is why I love the freedom of travelling alone and independently. It's given me the chance to meet some of the most amazing people.

You may find me laid-back, surly, giggly, foul-mouthed, shy, adventurous, irreverent, fearless, terrified, curious, pessimistic or any combination thereof... but (hopefully) always friendly, open-minded and respectful of others. I have an opinion but I will never judge.

I believe we should all do a little bit to lessen our impact on the environment and other living things.

I live with my father and grandmother. My grandmother speaks zero English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends! I love to spend time with local people whenever I travel. I believe that this is the best way to get authentic experiences, learn about other cultures and perspectives and go deeper than surface level sightseeing that tourists usually do in a new place. Some of my most memorable moments have been with locals.

IMPORTANT: at this stage I can only host solo female travellers. Thanks!

Interests

Mountains, deserts, kayaking, motorcycling, Spanish and Latin American language and culture, history (particularly modern Asian), Japanese RPGs, concerts and festivals, beer, collecting records... many things! I'm sure we will have something in common.
