Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
As part of life's journey, I want to learn from travelers and from my own traveling experiences.
ABOUT ME
Young at heart and mind, always in awe by the many wonders the world can offer, passionate in learning anything and everything especially the arts and language, most times love to stay at home and grab a book but there are days that I can just go crazy and do anything without a plan, then I can say I can be spontaneous too. Nothing but a good laugh can make my day special. Nothing but food can make my day extremely special.
Been hosting and the most number of guests I hosted was back in 2012. Seventeen people at the house. Love to cook and throw parties. Generally, I also like to organize some events.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to appreciate and I appreciate to live. The beautiful and good are more abundant than the bad and ugly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
With hosting, orientation and information dissemination are integral part of understanding a culture. It is my goal to create a global village where everyone becomes united regardless of their backgrounds.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First CS experience: Indonesia
- met CSers there and I was not a member yet.
Makati CS:
- I needed a place to stay while processing my visa to Russia.
Joined the CS Iloilo group and the rest was history.
Hosting experience:
1. Two sporty Irish girls
2. Siblings from Canada
3. The Doctor from Palawan
4. The traveling doctor of agriculture from Spain
5. And the biggest by far: Dinagyang 2012 event in which I hosted about 17 people.
Interests
Music:
- I play the piano and now learning violin.
- I sometimes enjoy singing especially for a videoke night with friends and CSers.
- I go for any kind of music as long as it wouldn't give me a headache.
Books:
- I read a lot. And I treat my books well as I want it preserved until I get old. I love re-reading them.
Sports:
- I limit myself to tennis and badminton; swimming a bit.
Movies:
- I adore them except gross horror ones.
- I can watch in the cinema or just through the internet.
Photography:
- Someday somehow I will learn how to improve this.
Adventure:
- Though I feel young, my body dictates the limits. But I do try some from time to time.
Food:
- As long as it is edible, non-poisonous, I try and if I like it, I recreate it in my own kitchen.
- I love to cook so much and if you are willing to teach me, you can find me a good student.
Newly found passion:
- Organizing events. Dinagyang 2012 gave me this opportunity and therefore will definitely continue this and prepare so much more in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
- Sidney Sheldon, Jeffrey Archer, David Baldacci, Dan Brown for the mystery and suspense.
- Judith Mcnaught, Jude Deveraux, Julie Garwood, Sandra Brown, Johanna Lindsay for the Romance.
- I love and adore Harry Potter, Twilight Series.
- I also read something to refresh my soul like Joel Osteen and Chicken Soup.
- Sometimes I also go for self-help books like Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. John Gray and the likes depending on the recommendations.
Music:
- I am crazy about Filipino singers like Jed Madela and Christian Bautista, Aiza Seguerra, Martin Nievera, Juris, Carol Banawa. I also go for new voices like Jovit Baldivino. Internationally, I love the music of the King of Pop - MJ. I also go for oldies but goodies like Abba, Carpenters, Matt Monroe, Frank Sinatra. Voices of Michael Buble, Charice, Maroon 5, makes me move my body to the rhythm. Well, I like most music except ear-splitting ones which I call noise.
- I also love going to concerts.
Movies:
- I am basically a romantic at heart so I go for anything that has romance and comedy. I am a sucker for action suspense and thriller. All-time favorites? Armageddon, Sixth Sense and 50 First dates.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing? I consider every thing I do as amazing. However, I want to be able to try do something really out of ordinary... like probably sky jumping? However, these days, I often travel with my mom. She is now my travel buddy. I want to give her the experience of traveling and exploring.
