I'm pretty much a laid back person and good with what i have. More of a listener than a talker, appear to be quiet but i'll get loud when i'm "warmed up" enough. Besides, i take sweet time to think and eat lol

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was on a Work & Travel program with a friend in 2009. As travelers, we wanted to meet other travelers too. So we started off by hosting our first surfer.

Interests

In general, any pretty stuff on earth ;)

If it's safe to do so, I would love walking down the streets without having any sense of direction. Just looking at the landscape, the architectures, the people, the traffic and be glad with what i have in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies that are a little deep. Comedy and romance are not bad for me. Not so much a horror movie lover...i'll jump out of my seat even though it's just some sound effect. lol

I enjoy jazz, world (esp. Celtic & Hawaiian), new age, classical, musical and pop music. Learned piano for few years and played saxophone in school and community bands.

I like fictions. I don't usually remember the book titles, so the stories have to be great for me to remember them. I'd say "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" captivated me the best. LOTR and "The Time Traveler's Wife" are some other good reads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the Yellowstone National Park! As a kid growing up in a city on a peninsular, the nature was not that majestic to me until i saw it in the Yellowstone National Park! The exploding geysers, the boiling basins, the herd of bisons...they just blasted my mind!

The next up is the Grand Canyon! Even pictures can't tell how amazing the rock formations are. You need to see them with your own eyes!
