ABOUT ME
I am more of a serious person, but considered to be very open-minded and funny. I love to talk to people and discuss topics in a more quiet setting. Although I have travelled a lot I am curious to see even more, get to know new people and cultures. Although I like my work, it is easy to get stuck and I believe there is more to life then work. Therefore I use the great opportunity to go on sabbaticals regularly.
PHILOSOPHY
Somehow I am really into languages, as learning a new language opens a new horizon. Although I am not very talented at learning languages, I love the feeling of exploring a new culture while learning the language. If I get the chance to travel to the country where the language is spoken it´s even better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a very positve CS experience while living in Taiwan. What a fabulous way of getting to know people from all over the world as well as locals. Some of them became good friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Up till now I only hosted few people, but I am a member of a German bicycle network, hosting cyclists from time to time (if anybody passes through this small city). I am very happy whenever somebody stays with me and I have the chance to get to know a new person.
Interests
A lot of my interests are outdoors like tour cycling, hiking and cross-country skiing. But I also spend a lot of time studying Japanese, reading books, cooking and meeting friends.
