CURRENT MISSION
To have a new experience with a new person each day
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty easy going, sociable, love laughing, and sharing good food, adventures, and stories.
I like long distance cycling, cinema, cooking and other strange hobbies like gardening.
I really enjoy theatre, and have a fondness for the uniqueness of Canadian cinema that is so deeply rooted from our culture. I've also acted in a production of the Bald Soprano by Ionesco (everything else I've acted in was original :P).
One of my favourite plays is Kim's Convenience about a Korean grocery store owner. It's a very recent one and absolutely funny! I can do an absurd one-man style intro of it if you ask me to.
One of my favourite adventures is long distance biking. If I had the time I'd go around the world, but I've only managed to bike across part of the mediterranean coast.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I have no couch to offer while I'm away. In the meanwhile I want to meet cool people and share stories from wild adventures and mediocre daily things.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
About a year ago a stranger invited me to stay at his cottage with his family for a night. As I arrived that night his family and neighbours all gathered together to make music and sing, by just playing along by ear for hours into the night. It was a rare experience for someone from a large city! I want to one day offer the same provoking experience to those visiting my city.
Interests
Learning languages so I can enjoy every Nobel literature winner in its original language.
I love movies, reading, and adventure.
Music, Movies, and Books
Brothers Karamazov, Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, Life of Pi, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, and so much more
Deja Vu, Godfather, Nighcrawler, Primer, MicMacs, Cloud Atlas, Matrix, V for Vendetta, HP Series, Ladri di Bicicletti, Dorian Grey, Deja Vu
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took my bike across from Toronto to Montreal. It's inspired me to do a cross Eurasia bike trip for charity from Spain to Italy.
Teach, Learn, Share
My school was big on Trivial Purrsuit, so I'm a trivia buff . I can probably answer most of your questions, as bizzare as they may be, and if not at least refer you to where you can find an answer :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook and share some of my favourite places in the city with an invitation to any mini adventure I take.
