Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Tortilla Flat, the Grapes of Wrath, Lame Deer: Seeker of Visions, Sherman Alexie, Gary Snyder, Toni Morrison
Music: I listen to most kinds of music I'm aware of existing. I dislike bro music (think Metallica &Guns n' Roses)and most pop music. If I had to pick three genres I listen to most it would be Hip-Hop, Folk and Blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw someone chug two gallons of cool aid. It was terrifying.I followed in the footsteps of a few of my heroes, and hitched across the U.S.I've seen beautiful Kansas sunrises and corn fields. The seemingly endless Pacific deserts and forests. The great crumbling cities of the Midwest, the quaint towns of New England, the bittersweet glory of New York skyline. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen was at a lake in Washington, it was raining drops as big as golf balls, the entire lake rippled and moved.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of Spanish, my understanding of indigenous cultures and my knowledge of music.
I would love to learn more about your culture, your family, your roots.
