Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Weronika, I'm from Poland and I'm currently living in Minnesota. I was studying occupational therapy for like half a year, but it just wasn't for me, so I dropped out and left the country, which was the scariest, yet the best thing I've ever done in my life. Right now I'm participating in a international student exchange program. I work as an au pair. I'm basically a nanny, that lives with a host family, works for them and becomes a member (of the family) for a year or two. I've got to say it's really exciting. I'm meeting people, who are participating in the same program from all around the world, even from places I've never heard of. Being a live-in nanny isn't always easy, sine you live with family you're working for. You're basically never off, but since my host family is awesome, I love it.
CURRENT MISSION
Travel to as many places as possible, meet new exciting people from all around the world and do crazy things together.
PHILOSOPHY
Success lies outside of your comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since being an au pair isn't a well paid job and I basically spend all my money on food (I love eating!), I'm kinda broke. Also I love meeting new people, have fun and making awesome memories. Besides they say I'm pretty fun to be around with, so that's a win-win-win situation.
Interests
Sports - for over 10 years I did track and field and in the meantime played basketball for fun. Right now I'm enjoying boxing!
I love cooking and baking for people or doing it together is even more fun.

I can tech you some Polish words and tell you about the places to go if you will ever gonna be in Poland!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to bake and cook for people and then enjoy a meal together.
