About Me

My goal is to travel the world and enjoy life as much as possible.

I am very optimistic and open-minded. I have many interests. I spend a lot of time playing ukulele and singing. I love reading books. Also I enjoy yoga a lot. Recently I started classes in ballroom dance, I am not good at all yet, but its so much fun. Taking photos brings me a lot of joy, too. I am planning on buying analog camera and trying this kind of photography. Also during this whole pandemic situation I developed serious interest in Netflix series.

I am vegetarian and I really like cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.

Obviously I love traveling, but this kind that you really get to know the place where you go to through the eyes of the people who live there. In general I am extrovert, most of the time I really like being surrounded by people.

Currently, I am Jagiellonian University student in Kraków. I have bachelor degree in International Relations. Now I'm starting master degree in the same studies and also another bachelor but in Spanish Philology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love meeting new people. I am this kind of person that is interested in everything so I really enjoy listening to other people stories! Sharing experiences and points of view with other people can teach you so much!

What's more, in my opinion we can understand culture of particular country the best if we spend time with local people. And I think that understanding each other nowadays is so important, if people would only listen more to one another, world would be so much better and more peaceful place!

Also I love travelling and learning new languages, recipes, history! And what can be a better way to explore culture of another country than meeting locals?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After high school I decided to take a gap year as an Aupair in USA so I changed my life completely for a year. I visited 18 states there + I was in Toronto and Niagara Falls in Canada. I loved Texas where I did horseback riding with cowboys and I saw real, huge Rodeo in San Antonio! I also enjoyed very much my trip to Las Vegas and national parks in Arizona and Utah. California was great too. I also hiked in state park in Louisiana where I met wild alligator.

Last summer in August 2019, I lived my big dream and traveled for an entire month with my best friend around Europe. We started in Katowice, Poland and finished in Porto, Portugal. We traveled without any savings just earning money by singing on the street, we hitchhiked and couchsurfed and this way in one month we traveled more than 3000 km. It was a great adventure.

In 2020, I was an Erasmus student in Zagreb, Croatia. It was awesome. However, during my pretty short stay coronavirus started and there was an earthquake so unfortunately I had no other choice then to come back home.

This summer, for the first time I was traveling solo. I spent month and half in Georgia and I loved every minute of it. I've seen many places and also I did workaway in a hostel and restaurant in a tiny village - Udabno on a semi dessert. I was riding horses across the steppes, I saw the most amazing sunsets and I've met so many wonderful people. So well I really loved solo traveling, mostly because of other travelers I've met on my way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy singing and playing ukulele a lot so I am always for singing something with my hosts :)

Recently I started practicing yoga. I love it, so if you like it too we can do some yoga together or I can show you some positions.

I love photography so maybe if you're into taking photos you can teach me something? Or I can take some pictures of you :)

I would love to start painting, more precisely acrylic, so if you have some knowledge on that field, I would probably ask you many questions haha ;)

Also I am always more than happy to cook something with my hosts. I am vegetarian so I can prepare for you some delicious plant-based meal.

I can also teach you some Polish words and tell you about my country and culture

I love animals, so if you only have a dog or some other pet I can offer my help and for example take a dog for a walk

I have many travel stories to share too
