About Me
Hello everyone!
Wera - a student of E-business, currently living in New Zealand.
I am a part-time traveller and a full-time friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To put it in a few words- I am here because I love meeting people! I believe that there is always a reason why we meet particular ones.
Thanks to the party launched by coachsurfers once I met a girl from Poznan who inspired me to go on a voluntary project to Azerbaijan.
Later on, one guy helped us in Malta, when my friend and I found ourselves in big trouble.
I was using my friend's account- as we were always travelling together.
Now she lives in Italy, so she actually made me join here personally :)
Interests
I am passionate about foreign languages, travelling and foreing cuisine (I particularly love Spanish croquetas de jamón, Sri Lankan devilled prawns and Polish babka ziemniaczana).
Maybe not everything I make is tasty or looks like it, but I put all my heart into cooking. That is the reason why my kitchen always seems to be in the middle of war (flour is everywhere!). I would call myself expressionist. Never could I repeat the recipe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- well, I listen to electro music 7h/24h, especially when I cook :), I also like Spanish flamenco music and all kind of alternative music. Polish bands are awesome too! Rock is not unknown too me :)
Books! In love- totally. Especially in Scandinavian crime novels and travellers' diaries.
Movies- my favourite ones:
1. The girl with the dragon tattoo
2. Everything is illuminated
3. American History X
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to dislike children like 3 years ago. Then I went to the voluntary project in Baku, Azerbaijan. My duties were: teaching to Azeri children and organising them free time. Can you imagine that after a whole month with them I fell in love with every single person there? That must be called AWESOME!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A number of Polish recipes, unconventional sense of humour, the joy of expression, positive energy and crazy stories!
