CURRENT MISSION
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page
ABOUT ME
Hey Everyone! My name is Weronika I currently live in Chicago, IL USA. I recently graduated college and I plan on traveling the world. I love to explore and meet new people. I love to share my experience with everyone and I cannot wait to meet some interesting people and learn about other cultures :).
PHILOSOPHY
The world is too much with us, and we are too much with ourselves. We need sometimes to escape into open solitudes, into aimlessness, into the moral holiday of running some pure haphazard, in order to sharpen the edge of life, to taste hardship, and to be compelled to work desperately for a moment at no matter what.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I recently hosted for the first time and it was amazing!! Met very interesting people and I cannot wait for the next time. Also, I've traveled for the last couple months and wherever I go I make sure I use couchsurfing :).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First time I did couchsurfing was the Summer of 2011 and I have to say I've never been happier for joining. I met so many wonderful people that I became fast friends with and will definetely stay in contact for life! I recommend for everyone to try it at least once in your lifetime. Everywhere I travel now is through couchsurfing.
Interests
I love to read and dance. I really want to travel and I'm great with kids. I love to meet new people and share my experience with them! Especially if it's around a bottle of wine :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Since I read a lot I have many favorite authors but just to list some I'll have to say Paulo Coelho, Stephenie Meyer, Alice Sebold, Emily Griffin, Pablo Neruda and Gayle Forman. When it comes to music I listen to pretty much everything but my favorite is Gotan Project.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently went backpacking to China and one of the most amazing things I've done -> staying for a week at a Kung Fu Temple near Dali. Absolutely a life changing experience. Not only learned Kung Fu moves but also met wonderful people who inspired me to be a better person. Went to daily prayers and really worked hard. I'll never forget it.
