About Me

Easy-going and friendly Polish girl, currently working in Dublin, Ireland

I love when something around me is happening and I am fascinated with new people, places and food. I love traveling and getting to know other cultures.

That's why when I was 19, I decided to leave my home country and start studying in the country of windmills and clogs (at least I thought so!) - the Netherlands. From the very first sight, I loved the international vibe, kindness, and openness of this country. Inspired by the stories of the people I was lucky enough to meet, I kicked off my own traveling spirit.

After one year of traveling with my best friend and telling our stories on our blog (https://polishglobetrotters.wordpress.com), I moved to Germany to start my job as a Travel Coordinator. My task was to guide travelers through the most beautiful parts of Europe. It was an amazing experience during which I met an exciting bunch of inspirational travelers and discovered places I've never dreamt about!

Afterwards, I moved back to the Netherlands, continued my education and got involved in a bunch of startup projects, like Venture Cafe Rotterdam (https://venturecaferotterdam.org/), Startup Funding Event (https://startupfundingevent.com/) and Volareo (https://volareo.live/).

Next couple of months I lived in Alicante, Spain to practice my Spanish and get some sun, because, well that's Spain. When I got enough sun, I moved back to Poland to get some working experience.

Now, I'm working in Dublin, Ireland and getting excited about the next trips to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first, joining Couchsurfing was inspired by my tight student budget. Since I'm a student with a passion for traveling, but pretty tight budget I always try to find the ways to explore the world on the low cost. However, after joining and experiencing the kindness of the people on the road, the purpose of Couchsurfing has changed.

Couchsurfing is an amazing way to get to know the "real" people of the city, get to know their stories and feel myself like a local, even if only for a second!
