About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world, myself and have some adventure during my semi-frequent breaks from work
ABOUT ME
Two years ago I graduated with my master's degree and decided I wanted to do something radical and different. Something that would allow me to have money and time off to pursue my desire to see all my friends and family, explore the world, and make connections with all the wacky people that inhabit it.
So, I got a job working outside in the arctic winters, which gave me half the year to be a vagabond and see whats up on earth. Also, I've been able to work and live in a completely desolate and obscure place.
I'm still figuring out how to manage all the time off without having a home to live in. So far I've relied on my loving friends and family to put up with me half the year. Now, I'm looking for people on couch surfing will do the same!
PHILOSOPHY
The man I am today is the product of the love, kindness and companionship that my friends, family and acquaintances have imparted on me.
I strive to pass those same feelings and lessons on to the people I meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do not own a home, couch, or car. I'm the vagabond/hobo that walks down the road with all his belongings wrapped in a paisley printed bandanna, tied to a stick and slung over his shoulder.
Despite my limited resources, I make sure to leave a limited impact on those that host me. I'll cook, clean, buy dinner and drinks. I cant sing well, but if you want entertainment I can do my best to provide it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent all last year couch surfing with my friends and family. Though never through this website.
Interests
Hiking, backpacking, skiing, climbing, mountain biking, disc golf, ultimate frisbee, honest conversation, people who challenge me, excitement, good natured and rabble-rousing debates.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working winters in the arctic, I have gone 6 weeks without seeing the sun. The day it first broke the horizon for approximately 20 seconds was one of the most beautiful sights to my light parched eyes.
