ABOUT ME

We are recently married and have decided to take some time out from working life to travel this awesome planet.

Michelle - I love being a social worker, I get to spend my days bringing a little light into the world of disempowered people. In my spare time I love all things creative particularly sewing, painting and photography. Bubble wrap could entertain me for hours. I love my family and friends and I am always up for a cup of tea and a chat. I think onesies are a fabulous invention. Tomatoes are gross. I LOVE getting letters in the post. When I was little I wanted to be a fire truck when I grew up, sadly that did not work out for me. I am new to travelling but with every country we visit I fall more in love with experiencing all the new things. I am a vegetarian, except when I travel, I don't like to miss out on new foods.

Wesley - I have travelled a lot for work to countries/places people usually don't go like the mountains of Kyrgyzstan and the mines Vietnam. I am now enjoying the opportunity to travel for pleasure to interesting places. I don't take life too seriously. I love a beer or 6. On the weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full contact Origami. I am a master architect when it comes to building lounge room forts. I believe that dessert should come first at every meal and I can smell an Enchilda from 15kms away!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently we are travelling for a while and couch surfing is an awesome way to experience life and cultures from a locals perspective. We do look forward to the opportunity to host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only had one host so far and we had an awesome time. Hopefully by the end of our travels we will have surfed lots of couches :)
