About Me
CURRENT MISSION
connect, change, learn with every encounter-practice humility.
ABOUT ME
I love learning. I always ask questions and am terrible with lyrics...not to mention I don't have the voice of Adele, but I still jam out.
I set out on adventures to learn about myself and this world we live in. The diversity, the culture, the universalities that exist amongst human beings.
My travels reinforce my faith in humanity, which is something we should never lose sight of.
PHILOSOPHY
If you get a chance, take it...if it changes your life, let it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far...so GREAT!
Interests
I'll top this list with eating, followed by embarking upon adventures (aka living life).
My passions lie within the realm of travel and humanitarian work. Learning languages, and engaging in life changing experiences.
I also love firsts...the first bite of an apple, the first step into newly fallen snow, the first glance upon a new city from the airplane window or through my sunglasses on a boda (motorcycle), the first awkward encounter with a stranger and soon to be friend...and on and on.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm am currently enthralled with "Blue Zone" research. Geographic regions where people live considerably longer lives; aka where the most centenarians reside. Which encourages me to drink more red wine!
My all time favorite movie is, "The Sandlot." Ohhh, the innocence of youth.
I can jam out to any genre of music (even if only for 11 minutes).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
...while providing emergency disaster relief in a tornado struck community, I witnessed people's livelihoods stripped away from them in a matter of seconds. During neighborhood clean-up, psychosocial support groups, and reconstruction, even in their most dire circumstances, laughter escaped their mouths. These moments were incredibly introspective and unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages are the communication of the world, but sometimes even silence serves as a universal understanding.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughter, which is often a result of storytelling from both parties--bring on the stories!
