ABOUT ME

I can be compassionate, brooding, flexible, stubborn, open-minded, wary, thoughtful, deluded, dedicated, over-cautious, carefree, crass, and introverted. The sensible middle sometimes escapes me. I've been told my tendency to blurt out long passages on obscure minutia is difficult to imitate.

I surf couches, and I make a mean mint julep for couch hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

St. Louis is a city that people often stay for a spell (i.e. school) and then leave in the pursuit of greener pastures. For a long-time St. Louis resident (like myself), this means I have *lots* of buddies in large cities around the country with available couches. Besides saving money, couch-surfing becomes a great way to reconnect with old friends, and to see the cities I visit through their eyes.
