Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore and hike my 200 mile radius as cheaply and adventurously as possible.
ABOUT ME
Currently a grad student studying neuroscience, specifically how the on/off states of individual brain cells can resonate together and create something as beautiful as our memories and experiences.
ENTJ/INTJ: I gain energy from planning, leadership and coordinating, but I reprieve from the daily grind through introspection, observing, and sketching ideas.
I'm the kind of person who will go out his way to make sure the customer service rep on the other end of the phone gets noticed as a human being, with joys and sorrows as real as my own. I really believe that even a single sincere compliment can create momentous and lasting positive impact in the world I live in.
I have ambitious goals but I'd like to think I'm totally okay with being an awesome stay-at-home dad.
My pullstring phrase is "let's go on an adventure!" Work hard, play hard is how I want to live my life, but the amplitudes aren't at the level I want it yet. I'm currently interested in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, backpacking, woodworking, sewing clothes, painting watercolors, cocktails, poetry slams, cooking, hot yoga at Sol Yoga studios (maybe you've seen me there), and exploring SoCal (I just moved here from the Pacific Northwest). But really, after a long week, there's nothing I want more than to lay on the couch, listen to Pandora and flip through cookbooks.
Tina Fey is my spirit animal.
Vinyasa grounds me.
PHILOSOPHY
Breathe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find homeless people on the street and take them out to get a bowl of phó.
Teach, Learn, Share
Current events, philosophy, neuroscience, how to eat cheetos and read a book at the same time without getting your pages cheesy, and all the shortcuts on your computer.
