Personally when I travel around I have always felt that when I stayed in hotels I lost some of the connection when it comes to the surrounding culture. I like to be able to feel the everyday life of what someone would experience living wherever I travel. Having the opportunity to stay with locals brings me closer to achieving the full feeling of the area and also meeting new people and growing bonds with them.

I'm very interested in the performing arts. I have sung in a choir for six years I've been a part of numerous dramas and I have danced professionally for three years. I love traveling around and experiencing new ideas and cultures and sharing my love of traveling. I absolutely love trying new things and eating new things. I love seeing beautiful scenery and backpacking or hiking to different destinations.

I greatly enjoy classical music, and pop. But love dancing free style to Techno! I love historical movies/shows and always keep my eye open for a good Sy-Fi movie. Books range in all different types for me. But names slip my mind all the time when remembering what all I've seen or read.

When I was 14 I ran away , I hitched a ride from Nebraska all the way to Canada where I stayed and then found another ride that took me to Tennessee I then went to Mississippi flew to Florida explored a while by myself then flew to Washington DC. Then off to North Carolina after words I flew to Denver and drove back home to Nebraska. That was the first time I had ever traveled by myself and even been on a plane.

I come from A country family and have learned how to deal with cattle and crops , I can easily enough relay our crop techniques that I've learned and our cattle management. I've finished High school and have taken advanced corses in English that I can help others to learn. Also I have studied Ballet which I would love to teach others about and share the art of.

Being allowed to stay with a host is a great honor to me for the sole fact that they have enough courage and trust to allow a stranger into their home with open arms.
