About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The same thing we do every night: try to take over the world.

ABOUT ME

I have blue eyes. I once ate dog soup. The longest I've ever had the scour for was ten days. That was in El Salvador. I once spent a day in Japan where I only spent ten dollars.

I've hitchhiked across Mexico and been published in a number of disreputable publications.

I once defeated the devil in a fiddling contest.

Otherwise, I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer working for an anti-corruption NGO in central Ukraine. I love my work, almost as much as I love my bicycle. I've been here for almost two years, and I'm always open to any travelers looking for a place to stay or just someone to talk to.

PHILOSOPHY

Depending on the day, this can be found between the pages of either Zorba the Greek or The Brothers Karamazov. In other words, its a rather fluid one and I try to evaluate everything on its own merits.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting! Traveling! Hosting! Enthusiasm!

Interests

Music, books, travel, various cultural activities, answering questions with an alluring vagueness, biking, and hiking.

I actually got really sad looking at the last word in that previous sentence: it's been so long since I last climbed a mountain; central Ukraine may have many things, but topography isn't one of them.
