Grew up in the suburbs of the US, and am now living abroad working as an English teacher, using it as my ticket to experience more of the world. I studied psychology and communication/rhetoric at University, and am enjoying taking my studies outside of the classroom. I enjoy live music shows, some jazz and blues among them, I'm good for a walk around the city, and I'm also satisfied to have a relaxing night in or at a café/pub that's full of good conversation or laughter with friends and travelers.

I think that one of the best things about traveling is meeting people who make your time somewhere meaningful and worthwhile, and sharing a living space is a great way to know someone and make those connections.

兴趣

I've been learning guitar for over a year, and I like music with some depth and some soul, rock and blues and some jazz, among others. I also decided I'm going to learn how to cook, so I'm learning one dish at a time (I can do a nice Chicken Parmesan!). I also enjoy getting to know new, open-minded people!

Music: I'm not some music purist, so I like classic rock and some hip hop, some pop, but I really like anything that makes you want to moveeee! Some bands I listen to regularly: Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Old School Blues (Howlin' Wolf, Son House, Muddy Waters)

Books: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series, Malcolm Gladwell's writings

I came to Prague to start a new chapter of life teaching English as a foreign language! Plus I haven't burned down my apartment yet trying to make new foods ;)
