ABOUT ME
we are 4 people (SYLVIA - a kindergarden teacher, CHRISTEL - student of ceramics and ELLY and IRIS -students of architecture) sharing one apartment in the center of linz. maybe we are a chaotic place, but not at all complicated.
we love to communticate and get to know people. other cultures and languages. Our flat is a frequent place we have people here often, friends just come and go as they want and we love it. =D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hosting people, getting to know other cultures,
Iris: when I travel I don't want to see touristy places I love to spend time with people in their normal surroundings and really get to know a city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
hosted some people in summer, when it's the best time here
the room we can offer is not heated, so it's less comfortable in winter!
Iris: I spent some time surfing with people in Canada while traveling and it was one of the most amazing experiences i have ever made!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Iris: spending 6 weeks in South Africa in 2010. It really showed me that i have to go and live elsewhere! And spending 4 months in India last autumn/winter 2012/13 showed me even more... Once you are not a tourist anymore you will see what the country really is like... in either ways: positive and negative!
