About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to not hesitate.
ABOUT ME
we are two gals (Heather and Julie), who enjoy coffee cups (preferably full), spicy food, the sound of rainstorms, bathtubs, red string, meeting strangers, and self-actualizing...
Heather: creative writer (poetry, short story). I like people who are open minded and willing to take chances in life. I am NOT a morning person, and I hate tomatoes. A lot of the poetry I write involves sea creatures, though I am not sure why....I like getting lost and encountering amazing things by accident....
Julie: artist/art educator (installation work, sculpture) I love mornings and tomatoes, unlike Heather!!!!! Books, outdoor adventures, movies, and amazing food (as long as the food is meat-free!!!) are other things that I enjoy. I love when things take me by surprise: an unexpected act of kindness, or a path that exists where it is not supposed to. In all of my travels, small gestures touch me the most. I am inspired by sharing new ideas and points of view. There is so much to see, do, know, and feel in this world that sometimes it becomes overwhelming!!!
PHILOSOPHY
follow your nose. always. and your instincts, too.
always expect the unexpected!!!

Teach, Learn, Share
1. Heather can teach butternut squash soup, breakfast, creative writing on napkins, how to enjoy a rainstorm inside a trashbag...
2. Julie can teach the finer points of lavender sniffing, collecting trash that is interesting and useful, combining apples and dolce de leche to create a delicious treat (though most Argentinians think it sounds gross).
1. Heather would like to learn how to appreciate tomatoes and mornings, interesting things about everything, etc.
2. Julie would like to learn video-editing techniques, bike maintenance, entomology, gardening, woodworking/ building skills, beekeeping, etc.
