About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find an adventure

ABOUT ME

To start things off, I am a pretty easy going guy and get along with most. I will always trust and like a person unless they give me a good reason not to, but with that attitude I have found that often people don't give me a reason so we end up getting along. I am traveling with my wonderful girlfriend. I'm a family man and love the comfort that comes with having two great parents and two sisters, we always find something to laugh about. I also enjoy hanging out with my grandpa, mostly because he's a dirty old man, cracks me up, and is never short on words. I am currently working as a commercial fisherman on the oregon coast. I am a sports fanatic as both a participant and a fan. I love watching college football in the fall and basketball in the winter. I get the chills when I hear the energy of the crowd during a World Cup or English Premier league soccer game. I love biscuits and gravy so if you would like some I can cook up a pretty good batch. I love having fun, often times it's just what I do and I like to do it in all different ways such as having a few beers, going out with friends, and just going on a hike to enjoy the outdoors. I will try most anything once. Water is awesome, whether it swimming, floating, or boating. I tend to try and find humor in anything I can and tend to be on the look out for a good joke or anything that will make another person laugh. Also did a Eurotrip in October/November of 2008 and had the time of my life. I would love to share my experiences and hear about others!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a huge fan of the legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden and a few of his quotes are good to live by. Check him out sometime, but here are three of my favorites.
"It's what you learn after you know it all that counts"
"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do"
"Do not measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability"

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: COUNTRY, Rock, some hip hop. I would say I have a fairly broad music taste and decent music education. I do believe that a person can find a song for every mood they may be in.
Movies: Wedding Crashers, Dukes of Hazzard, Top Gun, Encino Man, The Jungle Book, Willow, Training Day, Man on Fire, Point Break, The Rundown, Van Wilder, Star Wars, Spidermans, LOTR's, Saw 1 and 2, Boondock Saints, Happy Gilmore, Liar Liar, Gladiator, Braveheart, Out Cold, Maverick, so many more.
Books: Not often much time to read them, but I liked "The Dirt" which was the story of Motley Crue, a band in the 80's, these guys really did party until their wheels fell off, it was almost depressing haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of the amazing things I have seen have been on the ocean. To get one thing straight, I'm not one of those "Deadliest Catch" guys...if you have seen the show. But I have seen some pretty neat things like whales up close and personal, dolphin migrations where they are jumping out of the water as far as the eye can see, and some pretty wicked ocean storms that scared the the crap out of me. Other than that, the entire reason I am traveling is to see some amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

Grew up as a Commercial Fisherman and now I work in Sports for one of the best NBA franchises in the country...should be a good start to any conversation.
