About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn more and be more industrious

ABOUT ME

Friendly, talky, dreamy. I enjoy conversation and meeting new people. I would like to explore and go deeper into (almost :) everything.
I spend much time reading and writing, have a deadly serious passion for literature, philosophy, traveling, nature, music, history and a few more secret things.

PHILOSOPHY

Always philosophize!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I coach, surf, log in, out and in again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent. This is probably (one of) all time top onlinecommunities. I see a huge potential, couchsurfing could help bring about the cosmopolitan, interconnected, hospitable world-culture that we so desperately need.

Interests

Literature, playing/listening/reading about music, philosophy, human beings, butterflies, birds and fishes; traveling as I write and read travel literature; history, stories and foreign stores.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. I do listen to many genres, but in the recent years more and more so called classical music. The cantatas of Bach, Wagner-operas, the piano trips of Chopin, I like most stuff from the airy alien/angel/ariel Mozart and the lieder of the more than romantic Schubert. The Neapolitan Songs of course.

Reading: A big variety. As said, my greatest passion is for literature. For the moment I am writing a master in german literature at Humboldt University in Berlin, about jewish german writers of the Weimar Republic, for example Alfred Döblin, Joseph Roth and Arnold Zweig. It´s always good to read Schlomo Freud, his daughter Anna, and other psychoanalytics. I sometimes read the german romantics. Above everything else though I worship Shakespeares works and the best novel of all times, written by Marcel Proust, I try to take small medicine portions of it as often as I can.
Films? For the moment I watch many israeli movies and series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have seen almost nothing yet!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to look into the worlds of others, to eavesdrop, interview and register, to collect and remember true stories. To discuss, argue and think together on important issues. To enjoy the new perspective that arises out of sharing and contrasting cultures, habits.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Languages or other things that I know. Recommendations and maybe contacts or accommodation in Stockholm/Berlin.

Countries I’ve Visited
