CURRENT MISSION

Say yes to life. Always chase sunsets, literally, and figuratively. :)

I'd like to be able to express myself openly and uninhibitedly to people. I want to live my life in a meaningful way, and try to be always conscious not to harm people.

The individual who causes pain to us is only an instrument in the hands of Nature. His own Karma has made him do harm to us. He will have to bear the consequences of his actions sooner or later, but that is not our concern.

What we must constantly remember is that nothing in the Universe can bring us suffering unless our actions warrant it.

PHILOSOPHY

I consider myself a nonconformist. I do whatever makes me happy, and I follow what my gut tells me. I also don't necessarily follow rules. ;) But when it comes to your house rules, I will respect them of course. :)

I choose the life of having no unnecessary pain and suffering. Because I believe that's how we should live our lives. Love is the ultimate goal, but choose carefully souls your heart wants to beat for. ❤

A happy person in general, and optimistic. :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I signed up on couchsurfing last 2011 but never really had the chance to use it when I was traveling. Back then, I had prefered to stay in a hotel / Airbnb and did the exploring myself. But that perception changed when I met a Couchsurfer in Taiwan where he took me to places locals would normally go, experienced local food and got a glimpse of how fun their night lives would be. I was also amazed by learning the history and culture of a country from a local's perspective.

I am a female frequent traveler currently living and working in Singapore. Been here since 2011. I have spare times during the weekends and I can also show you around the city on weeknights.

I love to meet people from around the world, hear their exciting stories and would love to share my experiences too. Anyone visiting Davao City, hit me up! :)

Intereses

I love to discover the world, doesn't matter where my feet takes me, I will always be enthralled by how wonderful our world is. I love talking to different walks of life, hear their good (and sometimes not so good) experiences about everything.

Sometimes, I wish I could travel back in time so I can witness what happened in the past.

A very active person, keeping myself busy most of the time, and a young at heart :) Gym, yoga, swimming, weekend getaways, freediving, getting lost in the world, pleasures, taking pictures, wild dancing, attending online courses, library, enjoying being a foodie with friends, hanging out with different people, etc...

My interests range from history to new technologies. I usually update myself with information on new gadgets but I take time to weigh them if they are worth buying or not.

Music always moves me. It's definitely the language of my soul. My kind of music depends on my current state of mind. Sometimes, I listen to rap, jazz, mushy, hip-hop. Classic songs always bring back childhood memories, I love it.

BOOKS: Self-help; I'm always inspired by Paulo Coelho's novels.

TEACH: I can teach you some words to survive Philippines when you plan to travel there :D I speak Bisaya (most spoken dialect in the Phils) and Tagalog (official language).
