ABOUT ME

I am Bede, I am yet to meet another Bede. I am 29 years old, Australian. I am from the beaches north of Sydney. I have travelled extensively through Europe, through my own country Australia, and a few countries in Asia. I am outdoorsy, energetic, curious, and adventurous. My first Couchsurfing experience was in 2010, and Iv been fortunate enough to have many surfing experiences, and also to have hosted many times when I lived on a tropical island! I love food, music, wine, sports, travel, family, friends, outdoors and more food.!

To connect with a community that hasn’t lost its sense of community.
All my Couchsurfing experiences have been with individuals who are completely different from each other, yet they all share a sense of adventure, a willingness to learn, and of course generosity.
Always ask what it is you can give, even if it’s just some companionship and an insight into where you’ve come from and how you’ve gotten here, that is enough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted in France, Germany, Scotland, Thailand, Spain, Australia, Norway. I have become good friends with most of my hosts and have stayed in contact and wish to visit all again.

And I have hosted travelers from Germany, Sweden, Taiwan, Luxembourg, France, Australia, USA, Belgium.

I once lived in paradise so it was very easy to show my hosts a good time!

- Quit my job,Bought a 1 way ticket to london having never been on a plane before
- stayed in arctic Norway in 24hr sunlight for a whole summer
- skydiving over the whitsundays and in the Swiss alps
- lived on an island by the Great Barrier Reef for 4 years
- trekked the annapurna circuit in Nepal
- walked el Camino de Santiago

I can teach yoga or English, always happy to share my travel stories or love of food. I’m currently learning Spanish, surfing, jujitsu.
