About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be happy, to get the most out of everything that comes in my way (even the bad stuff), learn from every experience I live and every person I meet, grow not only in age but in spirit and share what I've learn with those willing to listen

ABOUT ME

Soy respetuosa y mente abierta.
----------------------------------------------------
I'm a friendly person with a sense of humor. I think I'm a good listener, and I try to be available for those who need to share a cup of coffee or a cold beer and be listened to :). I consider myself to be a reliable person.
I'm hardworker and once I've set a goal in my mind I fight and struggle to get to it; I'd hate to ever feel like a quitter, so I try everything I can in order to achieve things I think that matter.
I'm a respectful, open minded person. I believe everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want to and to live their lives as they please to do so, as long as that doesn't interfere or disrespect other people's lives.
I can't take animal cruelty of any kind and I think animals have feelings and rights just as we do.

PHILOSOPHY

------------------------------------------------------
In spanish, "haz el bien y no mires a quien", to which I believe the english equivalent is "do what's right, come what may". Respect other people's beliefs and ways to live their lives. Try to be happy and find happiness in everything you do, live a colorful life, dream high to achieve higher and eliminate from your life those things you know that harm your soul. Sadness is a decision, so is happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

-----------------------------------------------------
I've been hosted more than I have been able to host given the space I live in, but I can happily say that I'm still in touch with almost all of the people I've knoen through CS. I like to share with the people I host or hosts me; if not, what's the purpose of all this?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

----------------------------------------------------
I've traveled so little that I don't have many experiences to share. As a surfer, I stayed at a couple places, having a nice experience overall. As a host, I've only hosted people a few times, and it was really awesome because showing them around made me feel a little bit of a tourist myself. After that, I feel really encouraged to enrich my couchsurfing experience, because I think all the philosophy behind this is just great.

Interests

----------------------------------------------------
I'm a computational engineer but in one of those "moments of change", I decided to become a fitness instructor and discovered the satisfaction of bringing health and wellness to others.
In Mexico my love for the sea took me into the sailing world, so I've dedicated to them (sort of saying) for the last five years. I live aboard a 30 ft sailboat since June 2015.
I like eating and knowing local food; I think that you can know a big part of any place's culture by its food and culinary customs.

--
Sail, on a sailboat I can call my own, to Belize and Honduras and back to Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every bit of information exchanged (stories about lifestyle or travels, food, ways of living, etc) is a way to teach and to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share what's like living and working on boats... Not as the brochure for sure, but exciting and lovely as hell!
