About Me

Recently moved to Lima. Loving it so far.

ABOUT ME

Keen traveler. Love playing tennis, cycling, running slowly. Work for myself, but am a bit lazy. Still I just about pay the bills, and travel a bit.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is The Journey or The Journey is Life... Can't make up my mind but let's just make merry for tomorrow we may die!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently started using Couchsurfing again. Have an apartment in Lima that I normally use for air bnb but do occasionally have a couch available. hoping to meet some interesting new friends along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have crashed on friends of friends couches in the United States, Prague and Italy and have been involved in couch surfing meetups and hosted a few people when I lived in London. Have only ever met incredible people on Couchsurfing.

The generosity of strangers never ceases to amaze me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm.. Getting drunk on a farm in the middle of nowhere in Uzbekistan during the Mongol Rally without being able to make myself understood whilst my car was balanced on a wheel being welded back together has to be a highlight... But there are so many, quite a lot from that trip and several more from my rickshaw ride across India!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the rudiments of tennis, but I would never make you into a super star. I would describe myself as a keen player, but advanced basic or early intermediate in standard. Always happy to play though.

I can teach you, or share cocktails and recipes. I make a decent pisco sour and a reasonable ceviche.
