ABOUT ME

Well, I am on my way back to NZ to live. After about 4 years on the otherside of the world it will be good to get back down under again.
You will be able to find Bartman10 and me in Auckland from November on wards.

My adventure started in Korea with my motorcycle, my boyfriend; Bartman 10 and his motorcycle. We made our way to Russia and traversed across this amazing continent towards Europe and the UK.

We made a couple more trips on the bikes to Spain and then later to Morocco. We finished our travels with the traditional VW van around Europe trip this summer, our favourite places being Slovinia and Bosnia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting CS travelers and also the now famous Leeds CS BBQs. We even had a bonfire last time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my travels on my motorcycle, I was
hosted by many fellow motorcyclists, often a random act of kindness and an invitation while waiting for the lights to change green. Now that I have my own flat, I would like to help out other motorcyclists, and travellers with the same generosity.

Interests

3D stuff, design, making stuff, furniture making, climbing, Motorbikes, snowboarding, hockey, cycling, knitting... I love doing stuff, I hate watching TV (it's the adds and sitting still part) although don't mind the movies (less adds). Live theatre is fun too but better when you are part of it as crew, building sets, lighting etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a big sit still and do nothing person but I like the idea of books and like owning and buying them even if I don't always find the quiet time to finish them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my motorbike 20 000km across Russia.
Watching the stars at 3000m above sea level in Tenerife.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak/ teach English, and I'm trying to learn more Dutch.
I can fix almost anything, especially motorbikes, if I don't know how, we'll find out how and give it a go any way.
