ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Jason. For years I have always wanted to travel and see the world. Finally I just said fuck it, quit my job, sold all my things and decided to travel the world. That led me to Couchsurfing and my several month trip across the US.

I now have a full time travel job with Kindred Healthcare. They pay me to be a geek all across the country. I love it.

I enjoy a wide variety of things for entertainment. I am pretty open for whatever and as long as I am around a group of people having a good time, I will always find a way to entertain myself which while always good will sometimes get me into trouble :) I am very happy go lucky and enjoy meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

That I can sleep when I am dead! But really I live life for the sheer fact of living it. I believe in self and nothing else. It is not religion, or karma, or a sense of regret or repercussion that inspires me to be a good person. It is an inner motivation and nothing else.

That same inner motivation is what drives me to not sit around and wait for opportunity but to go find it and be the best at it, no matter what it is.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed around on my long trip and now that I have kind of settled I typically host. I still plan on surfing for small journeys and whatnot, however for now I am pretty stationary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hitch-hiked across country - I made it from Miami to Los Angeles, then Los Angeles to New York, and then from New York back home, thanks to Couch Surfing :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed the people I have met and the things I have seen. I have never had a bad experience through couchsurfing and am very thankful for the opportunities hosts have allowed me to have.

Interests

Travelling (obviously), anything geek related, gambling especially poker, motorcycle riding, graffiti, body modification, and movie watching.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are just too many movies to list. I am a HUGE movie fan and am up for discussion on the topic at any point in my life.

Music is pretty much everything except country. I like radio pop, I like rap, I like R&B, I like house/trance music, I like heavy metal, the list goes on and on.

Books is pretty simple as I am not much of a reader. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Books on Poker and Gambling, Computer/Electronics Books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts. I know it may not seem like much but I put a lot of time and effort into that program and I am very proud of that achievement. I believe the time I spend in Scouting pretty much molded me into the person that I am today.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything computer related I can offer at least two cents on. If you have any questions about your computer messing up or networking or anything along those lines I would be more than happy to assist and teach.
