i'm an expat in china, trying to do well by my students and also trying to figure out more about who i am and where i'm headed in life. i've lived all over and love traveling, and i'm looking to meet some cool new people on the way!

Interests

I am a teaching fellow with the Teach for China at Yongbao Middle School in rural Yunnan where I teach English to 54 7th graders and to two classes of 40 4th graders. This takes up most of my time, other than that I try to study Chinese, read, and watch more sitcoms than a human really should.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching in rural China has given me plenty of amazing moments - my favorite experiences in a place are those where I am learning something new about how a culture works, what people care about and how they go about their lives.
