I am a happily, married 53yr. old special education teacher, mother of two, who gets a rush from discovering new places and ideas, and meeting people from all over. The world is so big, and I want to see and experience it all.

I am a new member and will answer this as I get more familiar with couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie, but I hosted a young man from Mexico for a year in my home, and have had visitors from Australia, India, England, and Belgium stay in my house during the Memphis-In-May Festival.
