About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play, Share, Be Aware

ABOUT ME

Let's see,
I love food art music travel etc. But none of this would be important to me were it not for people to share these wonderful things with. It's all about the connections and the relationships.
Im told I spread a lot of joy, which is always nice. Im quirky and whimsical but try to always be respectful and grounded. Sometimes quiet and pensive, Sometimes wild and freaky.
Growing up in Los Angeles taught me to enjoy an urban environment but I also really love to commune with nature and enjoy the seclusion and intimacy of small cities.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy...hmm..?
It may sound cheesy but really love is the most basic principal in my philosophy. that doesnt mean that you can say "i love everything" and that will solve the worlds problems but loving consciousness is always the main aim. Sometimes I direct life or work toward an aim and sometimes I just have to surrender and trust it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive surfed around western coastal Mexico and had an amazing time living with families, staying in mansions, etc. I have had great times where the host is really attentive to you and you can share many experiences and ive also really appreciated when the host doesnt really have any time but allows a road-weary traveler to stay at their place.
Last winter I surfed around Kyushu and it was so lovely. Last summer I surfed in Hokkaido (northern Japan) and loved it. I just finished surfing through Asia and a bit of Europe. Only amazing experiences so far.

Interests

As I said above and a bit below in the skill share section, I love art, music, food, health, spirituality, and being part of a community.
Recently I've been delving into the art of conversation. I dont mind chit chat and bullshitting but it's so gratifying to have a conversation with someone when I feel like they really get me and I get them.

Woke on the sandy beach, just before sunrise, to watch a sea turtle laying its eggs

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always down to share and explore the culinary arts with anyone.
I also love to take part in many artistic escapades including felting, collage, mail art, etc. I can also play some guitar and sing so there is always room to share there.
Finally I have some random stores of hippyish esoteric knowledge to share like info regarding yoga, food energetics, mayan calendrics etc.
