ABOUT ME

I am a California lady (of the non Katie Perry variety) living in Tacoma, Washington. I spend my days working with special needs children and doing coursework to get my teaching credential.

I'm very easy going and I love good conversation and meeting new and interesting people. I love to cook and bake, and if you play your cards right, your visit might just include some fresh baked cookies.

I'm also a giant geek. Just putting that out there.

PHILOSOPHY

If you can do what makes you happy, go where you please, ignore the judgements of others, and manage not be a huge jerk in the process, then you have succeeded in life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

They've been absolutely fantastic. I've surfed twice now and both of my hosts have been amazingly kind and generous. I've hosted once and it was such a fun and interesting experience!

Mediterranean, trying to catch a salmon with my bare hands, eating gelato in front of the Colosseum, bungee jumping in Japan, skydiving in California, picnic on the Champs de Mars, private tour of St. Patrick's Cathedral, swimming with a whale shark and sea turtle in Thailand, being caught inside of an abandoned temple during a rainstorm in Cambodia, stumbling across an abandoned theme park in Japan, hitchhiking and urban camping for a week in Japan
