About Me
It's been awhile..
Keeping it brief at the moment but I'm a 25-year-old collage artist and server/barista at the tourist brunch mecca of Vancouver. So passionately interested in music and art that it sort of eclipses just about everything else. Love live shows, am out seeing music generally 2-3 nights a week. Love heavy, rowdy, jazzy, bluesy, technically interesting, psychedelic, weird tunes. Any of the above.
Used to make really good use of this website, trying to get back into it recently - love the quality of experience couchsurfing offers over trying to figure out a city all by your lonesome, ya know?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For those times I don't feel like pampering myself with airbnb and going it alone. I'm a super social person, and prefer staying off the beaten track, so staying with a local in their home suits me just fine. And then there's that whole karmic element of offering up your space to those who need it.. yeah, I like it just fine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Always changing, really. Listen to a lot of old heavier Brit & Texas blues, folky shit, love the Grateful Dead, modern stoner rock.. anything with really impressive guitar.. I could go on and on and on here
Don't read a lot but when I do it's non-fiction. Autobiographies and memoirs especially. Deal by Bill Kreutzmann and Just Kids by Patti Smith are my most recent favourites!
Don't watch any tv/movies really hummmm
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backcountry camping at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, awoke in the middle of the night to the moon lighting up the sand like it was midday. Night vision!
Hiking into the dunes at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado during a hailstorm, sticking it out after all of the tourists fled.
Met a shop-owner in Texas whose taxidermied pet bobcat sat on top of his couch looking regal as anything I'd ever seen. The conversations that took place in that shop in the like.. hour we spent in there were just incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can take you to see some really, really awesome local bands. I like to think I'm a good cook. We can buddy up in the kitchen. I can show you some great local food and drink. I explore.. have gathered a sizeable repertoire of great outings around Vancouver in the short time I've spent in the city so far. I'm an eager learner and love nothing more than to listen to someone with passion!
