About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live modestly, laugh frequently and love profusely
ABOUT ME
I'm an extremely laid-back, easy-to-please person. I love the excitement of city life and experiencing new things and at the same time I also enjoy just relaxing with some good company and a good beverage!
If I had the opportunity and money, I would go anywhere in the world.
I try to maintain an optimistic outlook on life and people. Everyone deserves a chance and I'd like to think that people generally have good intentions. I also thoroughly enjoy giving and receiving hugs! (though I can settle for a solid handshake...)
PHILOSOPHY
Traveling isn't about how many stamps I can get in my passport, it's about obtaining different perspectives on life and allowing that to shape who you are - and that's why I'm here. That can happen across the world, across the street, or even your own home (by letting people sleep on your couch!?).
Live right now, just be yourself, it doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else. - Jimmy Eat World
All life is precious, and every day is a prize.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I hosted several people at my apartment in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's been so much fun! I've learned so much and made some great connections.
I've surfed only once in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). I would do it again in a second, it was great!!
Interests
My interests are all across the board. So, (in no specific order) I enjoy:
People, international education, road trips, sociology, humor, faith, music, nature (camping, hiking, etc), learning languages, attempting to play guitar & keyboard, running lengthy distances, cities at night, dancing, photography, asking questions, quality friendship, documentaries, drinking tea, love, you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fell in love with people who I couldn't (effectively) communicate with. As I traveled to various communities in Northeast Thailand I experienced a unique speechless love in the homes of my host families. Actions really do speak louder than words!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand
