About Me

Easy going and relaxed Swede who are currently delivering ice cream in Norway during the summer and travelling in the winter. 2016/2017 I went to south east Asia and India to deepen my meditation and yoga practice. For the 2017/2018 winter, I'm heading west to spend time in south and north America.

I don't have a permanent home (so therefore I'm currently unable to host anyone). I don't own a car. I don't own much of anything, really. Sometimes it's tough, but it enables me to live a low budget life and travel wherever I want, whenever I want. I value freedom over safety, and try to step out of my comfort zone as often as possible. My aim is a life more true to myself and less guided by social norms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm travelling solo it enables me to meet new, local people wherever I am. Perhaps even kick off a long lasting friendship or two.

Interests

My current interests have mostly to do with the lifestyle I'm pursuing. Living freely, without too many attachments or distractions, and being in a constant and conscious personal growth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three books that have impacted me in the last few years:

Radical Acceptance, by Tara Brach
Walden, by David Henry Thoreau
On Liberty, by John Stuart Mill

Oh and also, I love George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For three weeks I lived in a secluded buddhist monastery in the country side of Myanmar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm slowly learning Spanish in preparation for south America and would love to practice with native speakers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I might be able to help with random web development questions, perhaps if you run a blog or an online business or something? I could also share some of my yoga knowledge. I've practiced for years and did a one month long yoga teacher training course in India last winter. And surely I can help with any random tasks that you are doing while I'm visiting.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, England, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
