I like people and will usually open doors for them, even when they aren't on crutches.

Saving pennies for a trip to Antarctica, to check off the last continent.

At one point in my life I biked 100% of the way from Virginia to Oregon. At the end, I was very tan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now that I am in a tiny one bedroom, I mostly hang out with surfers and live vicariously through their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I crashed on a couch in Indiana while on a cross-country trip and ended up being in the same town (by happenstance) as my cousin who was giving birth to her first child. It was as if fate made me a funfetti birthday cake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched the southern cross rise on the horizon the night of my 26th birthday from a tiny mud-hut village in Africa, drinking local moonshine and talking story around a fire.
