Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Avoid getting a "real job" and joining the "real world" as long as possible, preferably the rest of my life.
ABOUT ME
My name is Josh, and I've been an been a full-time outdoor tour guide for just over a year now. I've been a dog musher in the woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and a kayak guide in the fjords and glaciers of Alaska, and I've now followed the humpback whales from Alaska down to Maui, where I guide kayak tours. . It's the most recent part of my quest to do as many new and amazing things as I possibly can, and I'd like to keep traveling, working seasonally, and kayaking in beautiful places as long as I can.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too short for me to spend all day inside in a cubicle at a job I don't really like, just so I can make enough money to go out and do things to distract myself from the fact that I don't like my job. I'd rather take a pay cut and live simply while enjoying every second of the work I'm doing. The 9-5 grind is something that's just not for me, and I wish I had figured that out five years ago.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I only surf and meet up, but once I settle down and have a solid place I'll do a lot of hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started this account a few years ago but still have not really used it that much.
Intereses
Outdoors. I want to be places where I can be outside, hiking, climbing, kayaking, backpacking, camping, and the like. I'm also really interested in Marine Biology and Glaciers.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Kayaking in the Kenai Fjords National Park. Nothing compares to eating lunch in a kayak while watching an active tidewater glacier, watching a bear swim in front of your kayak, and seeing a pod of Orcas in the same day!
