About Me

Uni student in Amsterdam, studying Political Science. Currently sharing an apartment with no living room, so I do not have a couch to spare unfortunately. However, I am more than willing to provide you with tips on what to do when you are here because I believe Amsterdam has so much more to offer than just the regular coffeeshops and red light district... Write me with something good and the dates that you are here, I might be available to meet as well :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of couchsurfing. I have met a couple of amazing people through couchsurfing whilst travelling through South East Asia and I believe it is the best way to experience a new place. I know the demand for couches in Amsterdam is super high, but I don't even have space for a couch right now and I'm sharing the space with a couple of others. You can still hit me up for info or a meetup because I think it is a shame that so many tourists all go to the same hopelessly awful city center.

Interests

Reading. Enjoy the rare sunny days, preferably at a festival, or at a park with lots of friends and a bbq, or just at a nice cafe. A nice party. Some good music. Pretty pictures and interesting movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

La Vita E Bella.
Listening to a lot. Nice soothing music or something that wakes me up.
University is taking up all my reading time. So right now it's a lot of books about international relations and political theories haha. I do enjoy a book from the hand Haruki Murakami when I have the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving a scooter for the first time in my life. In Vietnam. I was scared shitless.

In Bromo I saw the most amazing sunrise I will probably ever encounter.

Oops that's two. Sorry not sorry.

Teach, Learn, Share

My knowledge extends to... not so far.
Haha no I'm still not completely retarded. I could always help anyone who is, for whatever reason, up to learning a few Dutch words. I know the basics to windsurfing. And I'm always up for a good discussion. Oh I believe my cooking is not too bad either.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Hungary, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, United States
