About Me

Couchsurfing for me, represents our humanity. I love being immersed in a room full of wonderful people who are from all over the world. For example; the last pot luck party I attended, there were a fair share of citizens from Russia and Ukraine all getting along and having a blast.

When I travel; I do not pack my stress, past or insecurities with me. I only bring my motivation and determination to experience life in new ways and to prevent my open-minded mindset from closing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I offer to host, it’s not because I need attention or have some unforeseen need. I don’t believe in the I give you give expectation notion. If I offer, no need to cook, spend time, or money. I am offering to extend my metaphorical hand just in-case there is a slim chance this hand can actually help somebody. I get satisfaction just from being able to make a world of difference in someone’s travels. I don’t intend to ever use this application to find a free place to sleep, I have only used it to meet with local groups and attend events to enjoy the culture. So I appreciate all offers to stay at your place, but your company and willingness to provide friendship is more than enough.

Keep in mind, it is not easy as one might think to let strangers stay in your place. I do not offer to locals, or those who want to stay for weeks. I can set ground rules for those interested. I have bikes, kayaks, I live close to Santa Anita National Forest and close to Down Town La when traffic hours have expired. I love to roller skate(dance) and go bachata and country dancing often, both in LA and Orange County.

If you have any questions or need tips, I will try my best to find you and answer or direct you to more experienced local surfers to help you. If you need tips, let me know how you plan to get around and what you want to do. Maybe even your budget so there is no surprise if I send you to a Michelin star restaurant that could break someone bank… lol I am a foodie by the way.
