I love hot showers and air conditioning but am willing to sacrifice both for the sake of an adventure. I love doing something different every day. I was a graphic designer in my former life. After a few years on the road I am back in the States and trying to figure out what to do next.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I have been traveling lots I haven't surfed that many couches mainly because it requires planning ahead. I like to keep things spontaneous and usually decide where to go next when I wake up in the morning or just before bedtime. I hope to eventually surf a few more couches. The ones I have surfed have been a great experience.

Hiking, camping, biking, really just the outdoors in general... art and design... the beach... beer, wine and vodka... aimless wandering through foreign cities... trying weird foods...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Couldn't pick just one so here are a few: seeing the midnight sun in Norway, swimming with whale sharks in Mozambique, going on safari in Tanzania, riding the Trans-Siberian across Russia, spending three weeks camping all over the Mongolian steppe, singing karaoke with complete strangers in China, hiking through rainforest in Malaysia, witnessing millions of Monarch butterflies gathering in their winter nesting grounds, taking a road trip in the US from the east to west coast.
