ABOUT ME
UPDATE All the information on this profile is untouched since it was first made, so it is outdated, except for the couch description (which is usually only little outdated). I'm simply too lazy to read it all over again, let alone change it. I also don't sport a long hair anymore, but can't be bothered to upload a new photo as well. I won't delete the previous description, because here it says I can include anything at all. I would like also to include the word "lissom".

All?! Yeah, right: "know yourself"-"i know i know nothing". Seriously, none eludes me more than my own self, for the eye can't catch a glimpse of same eye.
Apart from the annoying twaddling, I can only say, and thus is true, extremely moderate and adorably modest. Honest!
PHILOSOPHY
Existentialist with a bit of idealism, a fair amount of skepticism, and large proportion of healthy wonder. A Kantian account with a Wittgensteinian attitude. Subjective relativism with a bow to the absolute. A zen view of modern physics.
In short, a mess.

Ah, I was expecting that. The business cards everybody exchanges with somebody else name on them...OK, let's see now...obviously, this would always turn out to be an incomplete list, firstly because of the associational brain mechanism, which ensures that I'd list a lot similar artists and miss an entire niche I enjoy just as well, but mainly because the universal art department is logarithmically growing and with it the quantity of things one has to read/see/hear. So, even though you cannot keep up with it (you'll be ever lagging), you nevertheless keep expanding this artistic impressionist bubble of yours, presumably until it bursts with a dramatic explosion, scattering words, sounds, and images around.
Anyway, to the point.
Directors I've consistently liked: Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmush, Darren Aronofsky, Guy Ritchie, Siegfried, Woody Allen, Jos Stellig, Fatih Akin, Federico Fellini, and bloody fucking more. Sorry about that last bit. The aforementioned point actually should read: I like cinema. Sometimes I adore it, sometimes I loathe it, but as long as my eyes work, I'll try to satisfy the imagery thirst. I regularly go to film festivals and besides, you know perfectly well what I mean.
Alright, one third done, albeit not without minor linguistic incidents. Now let's plunge into the second part, Music. My auditory interests began with Classic Rock and then worked their way in both directions - backwards to the roots of blues (with a slight advantage over the others), jazz, "world music" (never liked the title, but there you go), and classical; and forward into almost any kind of rock, punk, pop, and whatever successful blending somebody had made. I still keep the emphasis on the lovely obscure genre of indie/alternative rock (don't you just love those all-encompassing but still delightfully vague and devoid definitions, such as alternative /to what?/ and postmodern). I won't make a list, for it will be too long and...I'm repeating myself. To console you though, I will write the three bands that laid my musical foundations back there in the beginning: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd (in any order). Anyone interested in the rest of my pop world can add the username "kris4an" to his SoulSeek (that is, after I fix the horribly broken 250GB hard disk, filled exclusively with music).
Oh dear, I have the last of the Holy Trinity left and with this pace...Look, you already know my attitude towards cinema and music, right? So it's pretty much the same with literature, maybe even more intense. For now I'll leave you with that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I crawled out of my mom's womb and it all went crazy from there. Still hasn't recovered.
