ABOUT ME
I love the outdoors, which is a large part of who I am. I also enjoy gardening, learning and facilitating learning, cooking, tying flies (and fishing, of course), hanging out with dogs, and playing games with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in my early twenties and a little bit during my travels to Nepal. Most of my recent experience is hosting couchsurfers. I have a job, a few pets, a garden, and bills now that prevent me from traveling as much as I would like! I get out every few years, though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw wild horses in SE Oregon while backpacking. Oh, and while on the PCT around Big Bear, CA, a brown bear woke me up!I was cowboy camping and was face to face with the bear!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to fly-fish, tie flies, speak and write english, rock climb, backpack, read a map, go ultralight, a bit about experiential education, how to properly cut an onion....
I would love to learn how to cook your favorite dish, play your instrument, how to hunt, how to speak and write your language, how to bikepack, mushroom hunting or identifying, and probably so many other skills.
Let's have a skillshare day!
