I am currently travelling around the world with my husband (Brian). We are volunteer farming in different countries. We don't always have a farm to fill all of our time and also want to explore the bigger cities as we travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to get out of the tourist cycle of hotels/hostels/restuarants while we get to know new countries/cities. We have wonderful cultural exchanges and experiences when we volunteer and we want to tap into the same experiece while in the cities!

We've recently hiked the Everest base camp and Mardi Himal treks in Nepal.

We're learning about running a self- sustaining farm and growing our own organic food. We are happy to share what we've learned so far. I'm also a garden mentor for people wanting to try raised-bed gardening in an urban environment!
