About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a full-time student pursuing a career in teaching in Vancouver. I was raised in a small town in BC, so I grew up loving the outdoors. I've always had a love for travel and adventure. I'm not afraid to try anything new (whether it be food, places or activities).
Another important part of who I am is being an identical twin. I couldn't imagine my life without my sister, and it's definitely made life pretty interesting :)
I'm really easy going and love meeting new people! Also, I can have a pretty dry sense of humour and tend to be sarcastic, so don't take me seriously!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfing is the best way to meet amazing people and to experience the city from a local perspective. My couch surfing experience in Japan with Satoshi was awesome; I really was able to immerse myself into Japanese culture and I wouldn't have done it any other way.
In September 2016, my boyfriend and I will be traveling to Europe for 5 weeks. We really want to get the most out of our trip, and believe that couch surfing provides the best opportunity to meet people and have fun!
Interests
I've been involved in recreational sports my entire life including soccer, basketball, hockey (true Canadian, eh?), lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, you name it! I love traveling, hiking, playing cards or board games, biking, running, reading, socializing, cooking, wine and beer!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of independent/foreign films and I absolutely love reading anything. Music is my jam- I love anything you can dance to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Great Wall of China.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you what it means to be a Canadian (e.g., why we apologize so much) and will eagerly learn all about you and your culture. I love meeting people from around the world.
That being said, I think one of the best ways of immersing ourselves into another culture is trying traditional foods! There is no better way to bring people together other than some good ol' cooking (and wine) :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I am really easy going and will be beyond grateful for any hospitality I receive. I also will be happy to ensure that I respect your home/space and that we have a lot of fun!
